Nir Tsfaty is a Melbourne-based composer, songwriter and producer working across screen music, contemporary songwriting and string-led composition.
His work has been featured on ABC, performed at the National Gallery of Victoria and Melbourne Recital Centre, and includes collaborations with ensembles such as Invictus Quartet, Melbourne Strings and Sinfonietta Be’er Sheva Orchestra. In 2023, he was nominated in the APRA Screen Music Awards for his original score for Scorpion Ascent, directed by Yaniv Linton.
Alongside his screen work, Tsfaty has released four studio albums across his solo and collaborative projects, Noria and Bell Always, and has performed a series of live works titled About Whales in Melbourne.
His studio work spans composition, recording, string arrangements and artist development, with selected work for Isuzu, iSelect, Deakin University, Respect Victoria and independent film and theatre productions.
